Axholme Joint Railway Locomotives and Rolling Stock
Railcars
Neither the two original light railways nor the joint line possessed any locomotives. In 1926, the LNER loaned a two cylinder Sentinel-Cammell railcar for passenger services. This appears to have been successful, and was followed by a purchase of the AJR's own six cylinder Sentinel-Cammell railcar.
Rolling stock
The Axholme Joint Railway hired three carriages (one bogie and two six wheelers) from the L&YR.
