I always reckon I must have Hitler in a previous existance and am now being punished for my misdemeanors (interesting this - I recently learned i am 25% Jewish so that would have been poetic justice for Mr Hitler!). Who were you?

When I was 16, Carbon Monoxide Poisoning very nearly finished me off. I spent the whole summer in hospital and HATED EVERY MINUTE!!!

I am now 46 and still regard each day as a bonus!

The Wallet is one of those little trials we all have to suffer. Like finding out I am teaching a class 5 minutes before the class is due to start!

I get the impression your definition of 'essential' differs from his?

It's a sure way to feel old, looking at the amount of electronic kit students have these days. I think about my student days, less than 15 years ago - and very few people had mobiles or laptops, let alone I-Pods, E-Pads and Blackberries etc. etc. Yet, somehow... we survived... even if we did have to break off from our studies to hunt Triceratops in the next valley for our supper. (BB - BTW, how old is your wallet? 65 million years...?)
