Bridge replacement

Post by burnie »

Bryanton bridge is being replaced as part of a scheme to allow taller and wider freight loads to travel between Aberdeen and Dundee, I thought it might be for electrification, anyone know if there are plans for this?

As a follow up to this I notice there are a fair few bits of coloured wood knocked into the ground near more of the bridges around Inverkeilor, guessing to do with surveying, maybe more than one bridge could be being replaced, nice to see some investment.

Another bridge has also been demolished on the edge of the village, a farmers field crossing, seems a fair bit of work going on.
