Ok JW I will do you a set.

No I had not considered resin casting, not sure I would know where to start with the boxes as
there are gaps along the underside where the box sits on bearers on the angles.

All forward with cell boxes at the moment. They are easier and quicker to make more once you start
as you know the dims and what you are doing, which is a big plus.
Anyway a couple of pics of how I make the handles for anyone who wants to know.
1, Some brass or NS wire, 3.3mm, then run through a flame (from your drugs lighter) till red.
2, A suitably sized drill, and bend round it, cut to length, quick and easy.
Usual naff elf and afty notice for idiots....the wire gets hot, wear heat proof gloves, have a fire extinguisher near,
and have an adult present.
Anyway pics explain and a pic of lots of cell boxes for cell box fetishists.

Well, further cell and frigidaire boxes being made for my triplet, seeing that the other set have been collected
and will at sometime be going overseas to our colonies and in particular the prison colony, so doing my bit for English exports,
unlike a certain vacuum cleaner company.

I've not had a lot of time recently, been on me hols. Anyway my set of cell boxes are complete, I found a drawing for the
fridgidar box after I had completed my first one and given to Jonathan (of this parish), which is different to the one shown on the underframe GA, a bit of additional strapping so that info has been sent to him and he will add it.
Underframes have now had the solebars altered and I've added the steel angles to each side of the queen post assembly from 2mm x 1mm brass angle. This makes the underframe look a lot better, why weren't they included in the etchings as Mr Trice includes them in his, I used his as a guide. Underframes just need a good clean up and the rest of the details can be added.
Incidentaly I was at Picvagus the other weekend and saw this sorry carriage, brake 3rd 43567, not a teak finish you see modelled very often.

The stone wall and other features suggest Pickering, but I'm dimly failing to see a link either to a major cranial nerve or to an American centre of allegedly thrilling entertainment.

Sorry Graeme it was me trying to put a Yorkshire slant on Vagas, I failed to translate it into Grimsby. You are correct it is Pickering.

Some wagons have fallen into my sticky mits over the last few weeks.
I could not resist the Triang Weltrol which was the first, it came with a funny tank which went into the bin, at £2 a bargain. I have not worked out what NER dia it might be close to yet, but rewheeled, detailed and painted it will pass. Then I got a Triang Trestrol £5, I've been after one for some time, since I binned my other one after messing around with it over the years, rewheeled, extended and detailed it will be a big addition to the fleet. Next I got 5 Sutherland models for £4 each, 2 LNER tube wagons, 2 LMS ex HR single bolster timber wagons, and this one, does anybody know what it is please.

I know there is an article in the Sept 1958 MRC with a drawing of the Trestrol, does anybody have said article and be kind enough to send me a copy.

Edited - As I'm a dick they are not Cotswold models but Sutherland.

Dave, Your wagon has the look of a Midland type low-sided goods wagon. These had drop sides and numerous variations.

But, I am not 100% sure.
