Re: LNER Atlantic
Looks like to the North of Berwick upon Tweed possibly Marshal Meadows.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.
Re: LNER Atlantic
The loco has no Westinghouse brake and no screw reverse. It also has a tender from a Q6, which means for the 22xx number series it can only be 2202, 2209 or 2211. Date is between 4/1932 and autumn 1935. The former date is the earliest brake conversion, the latter the last date into works for screw reverse, for the 3 locos.
All 3 were based in the north east 2202 at Tweedmouth, the others at Heaton.
I agree it looks like somewhere north of Berwick.

Re: LNER Atlantic
My immediate reaction was also Marshall Meadows before I scrolled down the string.
Re: LNER Atlantic
The leading carriage is a Hull & Barnsley Brake Composite.
