Aberford under Water

Post by richard »

For those who are interested in the Aberford Railway, Brian Hull has some pictures of Aberford, Parlington, and Garforth under water in the current deluge:

(the Aberford Railway was built in the 1830s as a private railway to take coal to Aberford and the Great North Road; later on traffic flowed the other way to the Leeds & Selby/NER at Garforth).
