More old 127 Film

A couple more scanned 127 negs, taken by an uncle of mine.
Location, year etc would be great, anyone any clues?

Scan 1314 has very much the look of a Andrews designs in East Yorkshire Beverley & Filey spring to mind. But no doubt there are others with better knowledge on such detail

The top photo seems to be of a scrap line somewhere, as the loco on the left appears to have no chimney.

The A1 looks like 60155 which was withdrawn from York, and my guess is that it is part of the line up of condemned locos at York shed circa 1965.

Not Filey - Footbridge fully in the trainshed, wrong roof end.
Not Beverley, had sloping slated ends as Filey
Driffield has a similar glazed end but the Lenticular truss is wrong and there was no footbridge.
Bridlington is out as well.

Other possibilities
Market Weighton. Slated sloping ends
Pocklington. Slated sloping ends

Any other ideas?
North Yorks
Not Malton
Rillington maybe?

Scan 1210: In August 1965 60155 was in this position, at York - tender to tender with 60152 - I have a very similar Kodak Brownie 127 photograph from then !

Interesting thought that snappers random shots should come to light after all this time.
The station is still a mystery.

Regarding the station, I think that it is not one of the GT Andrews designs in East or North-east Yorkshire. With the exception of Driffield, I cannot think of one that did not have a hipped roof (including Rillington) & as has been stated before, it is not Driffield.

I wonder if there was such a station to the south west of York maybe?

Out on a limb here, but is it Mansfield? I went there once as a boy - not sure about the footbridge, though.

Giner, I think you may have nailed it. I was thinking wherever it is, it seems closed (not a thing on the platforms - not even a seat) and it looks sort of Midland (that short canopy on the right) but not quite when you look at the main station buildings.

Comparing the actual station building architecture with what is there now, it looks very, very, similar. Of course there is no overall roof now so I can only go on those station features that face the camera. Apologies in advance if I am on a wild goose chase.

Mansfield closed in 1964 so if this shot was taken not that long after closure, it would certainly fit.

Bruddy hell! I've surprised myself, there (I thought my memory was long gone). Looking at the first photo on that Mansfield site, it could well have been taken from the footbridge.

I have just bought this transparency on Ebay, but there are no details about location. It looks like southern ECML to me but I cant read the station name on the lamp.

I am sure many people will recognise it.
