60022 Brookmans Park 5-9-54

Here is another image I purchased recently. I have no idea whether the date is accurate so I assume it is. The stock is a match for the Sunday 10.35 am from Leeds Central apart from the omission of a pair of strengtheners on the front. Mallard is carrying a reversed headboard, which made me wonder what the previous working for the engine on this train might have been. A very long shot I know but any suggestions, please?
