Evening All
While the A4’s take centre stage at the NRM York with 60008 displayed alongside star of the show Mallard, over in the workshop another star in decline languishes awaiting completion, or more likely more money spent on it.
i refer of course to Flying Scotsman, just a few days after its 90th birthday still incomplete & un-roadworthy (maybe for its 100th birthday)

Re: Flying Scotsman 90th Year
I suppose there is one good thing about the continuing delay to Scotsman's return to steam: Its boiler ticket should still be current on its 100th birthday. Hope I'm still around to see it!

Re: Flying Scotsman 90th Year
The ten year boiler ticket might have expired by the time the rest of the puzzle is reassembled.

Must admit I thought that the boiler ticket may have a serious dent by the time 103's all ready to go....
