The Valentine Express 16-02-13

Post by Brown Jack »

Hi,
Went to Leicestershire to photograph Rood Ashton Hall on The Valentine Express. Set off early in order to call in at the GCR to see a couple of their movements first. Then went onto Narborough station for the first shot of the valentines, followed by another at Barrow upon Trent.

I'm only a few miles from Narborough, I heard it's whistle twice when I got back home from work yesterday afternoon, wasn't aware of it in advance
