I'm no expert but my guess would be York, with the B1 taking the Scarborough line.

Doncaster.
Looking north and towards the station from St James Bridge.
The Plant is out of the picture to the left.
The Mexborough B1 1166 has just left the station, is crossing the ECML and taking the Sheffield/Barnsley line. The ECML continues south to the right.
The regular standby loco - looks like a V2 - is standing in the usual spot in the siding near the goods depot.
** What is the source of the photograph please. I have an interest in 1166**

1166 was allocated to Mex' 6/6/47 and spent most of her life there except for just over a month at Millhouses in August 1961 before returning to Darnall until she was scrapped 16/9/62
I would suggest the picture was very early in her life at Mex' and as 69999 says, is at Doncaster.
