Great Central Car Registration

Post by Bullhead »

I'm picking up a new car on Monday, and had wondered about treating myself to a personalised number plate for it - I rather fancied something with an LNER theme, and noted that a recognisable "MANNA" was available from the DVLA at a reasonable cost (this would have been even more appropriate had my new car been an Audi A3!). However, the number I have been allocated at random is "SA 07 MFY", which is a useful echo of Sir Sam Fay, renowned General Manager of the Great Central - so I'll save myself a couple of hundred quid and keep what the computer has given me.
So - did anyone dare tell Stephenson, "It's not Rocket science"?

I've looked for M411ARD and quoted a top of 18000+ and a low of 14000+

Hmmmm...new car or a plate for the old one??
