York Queen Street Shed

Post by Tom F »

Afternoon Gents.

I'm after photos of Queen Street Shed. It's the building that was just to the south of York Station, where often York's Thompson A2s and other Pacifics would do south bound stand by duties. I have a couple some photos in books already but I'm after as many as I can find, show particular the front end and the sides of the shed.

I believe it was demolished around 1970 when the roof fell in.

The photos would help to designing a new shed for Leaman Road.

Cheers
