NRM display the new Hornby Flying Scotsman

Post by richard »

Colombo reports that the NRM have put the new Hornby A3 4472 in NRM condition ('German' smoke deflectors and LNER livery) on display.

Colombo writes:
This is a forthcoming release and it appears nobody else has a picture of it, not even the Hornby web site or Rails of Sheffield show it.

I do not support the LNER livery with German smoke deflectors and double chimney at all.

Hornby 'Flying Scotsman'

Post by Model Man »

To clarify the point above, there has been an image of the Hornby 'Flying Scotsman' on the Hornby website since about June - http://www.hornby.com/pages/prod_det.aspx?id=7091

I have often looked at it in anticipation of its release!
