Post by neildimmer »

Hi all

I have added 4 new photos to the North British locos collection featuring Holmes J36 Locos
65234 was steamed until July 1967 as a stationary boiler at St. Margarets shed, Edinburgh.

65282 possibly outside Bathgate shed on concreted area with coaling stage in distance.
65232 concur, with Hawick MPD out of shot upper left.
65330 concur, housing and embankment checked against map a couple of hundred yards from the shed in the Edinburgh direction.

Neil have you got a pic of 65345 the loco that appeared in an episode of Dr Finlays Casebook.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.

There's a shot in the link below of 65282 standing in virtually the same spot at Bathgate shed.
