Tyne - Tees Television celebrates its 50th anniversary this week and their local news this morning had some film clips from the early days, mostly in glorious, foggy black and white. Included was a MetCam DMU cab ride along the riverside route at Newcastle past the shipyards and industry. Driver in steam overalls and in true NE tradition a cloth cap. Memories!
