One of the most powerful 4-6-0s in the British Isles but been in a museum since 1964. When I once queried why it had gone to Northern Ireland rather than remain in the south, was told that if they hadn't offered her a home in Ulster, she would have been broken up. I wonder, given the scarcity of steam in Ireland, whether she will ever be restored to working order?

A topper is proper if the train's a non-stopper!
