As anyone with any kind of Google advertising account will know, we're being bombarded to set up GDPR consent messages for readers in Europe (EEA and UK).
These will appear from 16 January. I thought the message was ridiculous (why are they sharing your personal information with ~200 partners for what is a simple information website?) and the revenue is not exactly large. Therefore I have disabled the messages - and hence from 16th January, advertising shouldn't appear for readers in the EEA/UK.
Let me know if there are any issues - e.g. the messages do appear or something like that.
