Hi, this is my first post on the forum.
I’m currently in the process of detailing my coaching stock and was planning to install destination boards, however I’m having difficulty pegging down exactly how the LNER used them.
I’ve found quite a bit of conflicting information. Some images show formations where every carriage carries destination boards, some with only the lead coach carrying them while most images show no boards at all.
I was wondering if there was an LNER standard practice or if it varied across the regions? I’m modelling the M&GN in 1937 if thats relevant.

Re: Destination Boards (1930s)
I'm interested in this too, although I'm also wondering if they were removed during WW2.
Swedish railway modeller with odd ideas.
