royal train

I am looking for information on the royal train which ran from Ballater to Bawtry on 6th - 8th September 1955 , in particular the Newcastle to Doncaster leg on 7th September on which my father was fireman . I have had partial success searching the NRM archives and local newspapers but would love to see photos of the actual train , especially the loco [ which I believe was a Class 8P ex LNE A4 ] and footplate crew .
