I have just spent a good deal of time replying to a post about NE Area models.
I pressed the send button at exactly the same time as someone else replied, everything I had written disappeared.
Thinking again, the cause is most likely a drop out of the internet here, but all gone.

It isn't the coincidence of replies - that happens a lot, especially with other installs of this software which are much busier than the forums.
As you say, internet drop out more likely. If this is something you're worried about, write the lengthy reply in Notepad or the text editor of your choice and then cut&paste it in.
