Have got id for a number of these locos but some are not NER. i think the tank engine in the snow is an ex NLR loco on the Cromford and High Peak, i am running some of the shots past a friend to see if he agrees with me.
No.198 is a 124 class 0-6-0WT the goods tank version of the BTP class.
I think No.35 is a Blyth and Tyne engine. This one has been looked at by 2 friends who agree that lining and cab style are B&T ish rather than NER. B&T 35 was renumbered NER 1335 7th August 1874.
720 is a 708 class 0-6-0 built by R Stehenson & Co W/no.1975 built 12/1870 withdrawn 1911.
84 Great Eastern 0-4-2?
1522 J class 4-2-2 built 1890.
481 398 class 0-6-0.
538 13 class 0-6-0 note names of crew ? on tender.
451 450 class 2-2-2 built by R. W. Hawthorn W/no.1132.
Do people agree with my findings, there are definitely a few none NER locos in that lot.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.
