I've just stumbled across this film of the Elizabethan. It lasts about 20 minutes. It is hauled by SILVER FOX.

Re: The Elizabethan
Its been posted on here before but its worth bringing up again. Watch for the strategically placed rag to obscure which A4 is being filmed on shed.
Hi interested in the area served by 52D. also researching colliery wagonways from same area.

Re: The Elizabethan
This is interesting as only last week I was shown a series of British Transport Films (BTF as at the start of this one on The Elizabethan) and they were fantastic for a person with an interest in the historical aspect of railways. My friend who has them is an ex Sussex man, now living in New Zealand who had obtained them from a 'contact' before he left and didn't think they were available to the 'public' but does anybody know if this is the case. Not every topic would be of interest but I'd love to get my hands on some of those showing early BR days (and even more so any made during Grouping days).
Thanks.

Re: The Elizabethan
Lots of BTF films are available in the UK on DVD - there are at least 10 double-DVD sets available.
