That one of Night Hawk - anyone care to comment on the rake of coaches?
Teak brake, then a 12 wheel bowstring diner? In what looks to be a 2 tone livery?
Followed by a Tourist twin?
So were some older coaches also painted green and cream? I dont' think I've come across that before.

Cheers, John, I'd missed that one.
How much 'other' stock was painted in Tourist colours, then?

According to the later Harris, the T&L version, there were 3 catering vehicles painted to match 'Tourist stock' sets for the NE Area.
The NER Diagram 170, a standard LNER Diagram 10B which became unclassified, and an ex-GCR Restaurant Car.
More details to follow when I find them, unless someone has them to hand. I am unsure what the Diagram of the GC Carriage was?

The number of the NER D170 is 21487.
The 10B is 21474.
Details of the ex-GCR kitchen car:
Former GC Restaurant Composite to diagram 5M1, No. 5304.
Converted in 1934 to a Kitchen Car and allocated to the NE Area as 21484.
More details and a photo of the ex-GC car in green and cream can be found in Backtrack Volume 10 Number 11, in Clive Carter's LNER Kitchen Cars article.
