Hi Trev
Lucky devil, footplating a 9F. I've done a Rebuilt Bulleid Pacific, Maunsell Mogul, T9 and, in BR days, an Ivatt 4MT.

Photo no 13 is a beautiful loco portrait -!!

Regards
PP
The light at the end of the tunnel is probably a train coming towards you!!

Ay up!

Anyone else notice the diesel brake tender at Rothley? Question: are there any others?

I footplated 92220 many, many years ago on the Worth Valley and it was an experience. That big, green, smooth riding, ex-works machine certainly was an eye opener with the rest of the locos being straight from BR service and knackered. Not that the Black 5 was ever known as a smooth riding machine at the best of times......
If I ain't here, I'm in Bilston, scoffing decent chips at last!!!!
