LNER Class K1/1 - drawings

Post by Dixie »

Do any readers have a drawing of this Thompson rebuild of Class K4. Failing that a decent drawing of a Peppercorn K1, as built by the North British Locomotive Co ? As a builder in Gauge 1 of live steam locos, I would like to make this my next project. Unfortunately, NRM appear to have no drawings and the cost of the rod and pipe drawing by NB Loco from Glasgow University is prohibitively expensive - they do not have a GA. Many thanks for any help given. Dixie

Hi,

Isinglass do excellent drawings of LNER locos, including the K1/1. They do their drawings in various scales including 1/32 and 10mm, so you might well be OK there:

Good luck.
