A very appropriate name, in my view, would be "Lord of the Isles".

Held by 62005 isn't it, currently? Further - GWR connotations aside, having two engines named the same in preservation would be a trite difficult to manage.

Indulging in humour for a moment (as some might see it)......

Some feel that COTN is out because the loco isn't to be a faithful duplicate. "Hen of the North" would, by analogy with the V4s, be a possibility, although of somewhat confused derivation and hardly likely to be charismatic.
Maybe it ought to be "Phantom Cock"

I must admit Lord of the Isles is a name i was mulling over but discounted due to GWR connections we cant have that lot(and to use an LNER derived metaphor) crowing over us. I still havent forgiven them the desecration of an original O6 in the chase for a Saint.
Incidentally there was an A3 model for many years collecting coins for railway charities at Berwick Station with the name Border Lass that could be used.
Another name i like is a modification of 52As choice to The Reiver.
