Hi Richard

The problem that I have with the GF V2 is the wheels, that bright green plastic is awful. I have tried to weather them a bit but I think i will be forced to over paint matt black and then highlight the rims and spokes in an appropriate green. What I have done to disguise the skirt is to paint it black same as the footplate, hides it quite well, if you avoid the shaky hand, I should have used masking tape or Maskol.

I have a J38 and a J27 - both beautiful and wonderful runners - pull anything you can put behind them. Not very deatailed - but look very "right" - I don't look too closely in N gauge - my eyesight in middle age is one of the reasons I like the scale.

Hi Tony,
I agree with Richard that the B12 appears too dark but your model seems lighter than mine, possibly its the lighting.
Whilst the J39 in Colin's brochure looks good in green, did any run in that colour - I thought they were all black.
