Another example of converted Parkside vans.
There are lots of variations.
I should start my own thread perhaps.
This has a Cambrian steel u/f, with MJT bits too. Most of my models are 9ft wheelbase, due to circa 1932 era.
The central door bar was removed by a micro milling machine. Sprung buffers, separate safety loops etc.
I cannot work at Jonathan's pace!

Some of the BK containers and a Conflat V or two would be quite useful!
I was going to make a B container, but if someone else has done the hard work I'm happy to make use of it!

Great set of models thanks for showing, as I said at Wakefield if all goes well count me in for a couple of containers.

Enjoyed my visit to the West End Workbench works open day - you must do it again sometime.
Conflats look good - the Scotch Goods will be pleased
Looking forward to the output from the holiday coach building programme - I think we made it about 17 brake coaches at the last count...

Mick - as Graeme said, watch this space. Or watch his space. They'll turn up one one or the other. I had a bit of a rivetfest this afternoon and once I've checked all the strapping for straightness and put a coat of primer on to stop the rivets transfers falling off I think these may be on their way to a comedy address in Grimsby.
I have tried them with a set of MJT W irons and they seem to be spot on for height. The intention will be to add detailing to the containers and flats, the casting will just be the basic form. Too much detail creates casting problems and it often looks better added afterwards. I will be having a go at lettering for this container as well.
David - I'm doing a BK as it only has one door and you can get transfers from Powsides for them. Please feel free to make as many other B types as you like. The conflat V I am looking forward to completing and I still have a number of your A type containers to load them with.
John - never mind speed, that van is lovely, much better than mine. I'd be interested to see a thread on how many varieties of van you can concoct from the basic Parkside.
Ian, the K's van is OK once you get it square and running freely. The Palbrick I seem to recall was fiddly but all his kits were. I see he doesn't offer this any more, so I don't know where you'd get one now. Maybe P-D ought to give it some thought.

It is, but I had a lot of derailments: I had to start using EM wheels, it got that bad.
