Nicely done with the 4-6-4s. I suppose I would say that though, wouldn't I?
A startling illustration of photographic variations in colour rendering too, especially the blues.

They are all the same colour and from the same tin!! . The B1 is not that lurid shade either. The joys of artificial light and a crap winters day !!!

Nice work as usual Mick, I remember a D49 at Doncaster in 2003 which was very similar in "brilliant" green.

Re: Micks 4mm LNER Models
I was tempted to call the shade on Morayshire at the time "pea green". The B1 at Donny on that occasion struck me as fairly bright...

Re: Micks 4mm LNER Models
A great picture there Mick. Merry Christmas to you too!
I wonder why the D49 has a GWR tender behind it and ahead of the train...?

DIY out of the way.
Dave Bradwell J27 on the go.
Chassis wheeled yesterday and running well. Needs Brakes and puck ups to be done. Motor will have the top shaft removed once run in. Body waits detailing
Tender done just needs Coal
D&S ex NER Plate Wagon awaits final weathering

J27 body ready for paint.
Re: Micks 4mm LNER Models
Chassis just needs a clean up, having been run in.
Re: Micks 4mm LNER Models
J27 done with a few of the new Hornby Hopper which have been repainted, new lettering couplings and weathered.
