Re: Micks 4mm LNER Models
In the Crownline kit which only covers the Loco supplied by Jim there was:-
Etched
complete chassis , coupling rods, smokebox wrapper, cab roof panels, steps, reversing rod
tuned brass
chimney
whitemetal
Westinghouse Pump, Dome , extension pieces for Boiler and footplate.
No idea if Crownline kits ever varied with contents as this if the first one I have done.
You could easily extend boiler and footplate with another B12 body IMHO. No idea where you could source the other parts.

That looks pretty well the same as the contents of the kit I have in the pile.

Very nice work as always Mick - nice to see the red-lined black locos - very smart.

Some will say it's mad...but the red lining will be less apparent when I've finished with them!2002EarlMarischal wrote:Very nice work as always Mick - nice to see the red-lined black locos - very smart.

I would love to be able to make and paint and line-out locomotives as well as you do.mick b wrote: Latest build A2/3 which started out as this dire Bachmann A2 which someone renamed as a A2/3 then chucked matt black over the poor thing.
Were you referring to the original Bachmann A2 as dire, or what someone had done to it?

The one I am using was/is dire due to dreadful attempt at weathering by previous owner.
The Bachmann A2 is not perfect, but I am not complaning
Re: Micks 4mm LNER Models
Good. I have No.525 run-in but otherwise all pristine in it's box. According to Col. Rogers the presentation model to A.H. Peppercorn himself had a double chimney - which of course the real locomotive should have had!mick b wrote: The Bachmann A2 is not perfect, but I am not complaining
I will speak to Mr King for the appropriate part, but I have a house-move (and railway re-location) to cope with first.
