Sadly, that's even less likely than It Ain't Half Hot Mum! Railways? Too middle class, old chap.

And anyway, would we WANT to watch a program about the modern railway? I wouldn't! Same locos painted up in "fairground" liveries.
If I ain't here, I'm in Bilston, scoffing decent chips at last!!!!

I would. I found those programmes on the ECML quite interesting, even if they were aimed at the less knowledgeable audience with the inevitable 'human interest' angle that brings.

There have been others, one on some railway that appeared to begin at Paddington, and another on the Underground system; and I found those interesting as well.

What amazed me was the abuse that many of the innocent railway staff had to endure, especially if trains were delayed. I can understand frustration, but many people seem to be so selfish these days and are only interested in their own problems.

.... Nor "Love Thy Neighbour",... or "Mind Your Language" then I suppose.

So, probably no chance for "Curry 'N Chips" either then?

To go back to the first post on the thread, I've just realised there's not been any posts about NYMR or LNER coach preservation. Has something happened to 'Sawdust'?
