Two Black 5s & A4 4464 Bittern (15-03-14)
Hi,
Went out for two Black 5s at Langley Mill and on the Settle & Carlisle for the A4 Bittern 15-03-14.

Good morning all
Around 1980, I was behind two Black Fives over the Settle Carlisle line. This was the first trip that had a run through photo shoot. It was terrific with the Black Fives at long cut-off belching steam and smoke everywhere.
The film in my SLR seemed to last forever, which was because the film wasn't winding on properly, and I ended up with zero usuable pics.

I was not aware of that plaque! I sincerely hope it wasn't attached when I attended the Great Goodbye at Shildon back on 17th February, or my observation skills must be worse than even my wife accuses me they are! (It was dark though!).

I'm afraid it was put on at Barrow Hill. The is a photo of the lady unveiling it in my photos at BH. Sorry EM, its time to visit Specsavers.
