Armoured GNR N1 Class 0-6-2T's

Post by Rlangham »

Does anyone have a photo of either of the two N1 class 0-6-2T's taken over by the War Office, armoured and each used to haul an armoured train in 1914? Have a couple of views of the train as a whole but not the locomotive - any other photos at all of the train would be of interest too

There are two pics of the loco and one more of the train in vol twenty five of Yeadon.
There is also a distant pic of the train in Groves Great Northern Locomotive history.
