I just thought I'd say hello as I've just joined the forum. I feel that I ought to join as the accompanying website/encyclopedia is very useful and I often use it. I live in Norfolk so am not short of old GER and M&GNR lines to explore. In my free time I help out on the North Norfolk Railway, most often working in the Carriage & Wagon sheds which is great fun and very educational. I also build Model Railways, I'm working on a 2' x 12' LNER exhibition layout at the moment although it is packed up for an impending house move. I'll also be starting a new permanent model railway in the workshop of the new house which will be based on a 1950's - 1960's fictitious section of the ECML so I can run full length trains with my Hornby Live Steam stuff!
