I have just finished Volume Two of the The Lancashire Derbyshire & East Coast Railway book which will cover the line from Langwith Junction to Lincoln along with the Mansfield Railway connection and the Mid Notts Joint Railway. This end of the route was mostly intact until the 1980's, and some of it is still in use today, doing the job it was built for, the movement of coal albeit from the one remaining colliery at Thoresby, and as a Network Rail testing facility.
