Good discussion going on. In the first photo, there is a lamp on the right hand buffer beam, and it looks like the black5 may have a self weighing tender?, it also looks to me like a train of cement wagons behind the engine. Trains of this type of cement wagon would go north through Fife to the north east, when all the oil installations etc were being built up there. B1, V2 and some times A4 hauled.
Not the right site I know, but just had an email telling me my WD 90441 is on its way over the pond, I'm excited. Can still hear the sound of them pounding up Glenfarg bank, some things you never forget.
