60010 location

Can anyone identify the location for this image, please?

All I know is that it dates from the 1960s, as indicated by the presence of a Mark I RB in the formation. Somewhere in Scotland, possibly on the Glasgow-Aberdeen route, has been suggested.

It is a very wet early spring day. The chime whistle is acknowledging the photographer? Very stiff breeze from behind photographer's back.

As to location nothing springs to mind. Mid 1960s?

I suggest with Bridge of Allan (OK it was Cally LMS) north end of the station with an up train. House looks familiar and track - sidings layout fits with Old Maps - although there are houses there now Siarter looks like a typical Cally lattice (Those at Sitrling and Dunblane have only been removed this year

Bridge of Allan certainly looks right to me.

60010 picture date will be spring 1964 or 65. It arrived in Scotland in October 1963 and was withdrawn May 1965.
