Just wish to confirm my request. 4470 please!

For 2750 - will you be doing the slightly smaller font for the '50' part of the number in keeping with the prototype?

Thanks Steve.

Now, fingers crossed, I think I've solved the problem of getting the T-shirts to be the right colour at reasonable cost. Unfortunately the Traintees swatch was not in my opinion suitable but a further home dyeing exercise appears to have hit the nail on the head at the first attempt. Although that success is with one of the lighter-weight Tesco white T-shirts that I obtain for experimentation, I am hopeful of repeating the success with the heavier T shirts supplied by my local printer with the benefit (I hope) of a more durable product. I'll do a trial batch of three or four this week for those who I already know to be in a hurry to get one. If that goes well then I'll be able to do more, at prices I am about to list in:
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5243&start=15

THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY EXPRESSED INTEREST SHOULD DEDUCT £3 FROM THE LISTED PRICE FOR THEIR FIRST SHIRT IN "CUSTOM" LNER GREEN. NOTE ALSO THE CHEAPER OPTIONS OF MILITARY GREEN AND FRONT-ONLY PRINT (i.e no number on back)

Some have already let me know, but can I please now have chest size requirements from anyone else who has expressed an interest and would now like me to get on with job if possible.......

Thanks.

I had a "consultation" with the bathroom scales about ten days ago and decided reluctantly that something has to be done.........

Good grief, I've actually done some model making again! About time too. Mr Weallans gave me an interesting little casting project to have a look at, and I've finally converted another A2 chassis to A2/2 type to properly suit Lord President (and in due course Wolf of Badenoch, but that's another story). At last Steady Aim and Lord President can run side by side rather than having to share one pair of trousers.

Big-ish picture of said locos here, in bandit country:

More or less ready for Grantham's "Festival of Speed" (the town of Grantham, not the layout of the same name) this weekend:
Image

(Clearer image of stock inserted 6/9/13 - ignore the pieces of loo-roll tube bracing the stock for transit purposes only)

Here, quickly snapped this evening under unhelpful lighting, the "standard" T-shirt artwork on a prototype "approximately Garter Blue" T-shirt.

My P1, embarassed last Sunday by Tony Wright's C12, has now started a body-building course, and having already put on 2ozs is now easily master of 60 of my wagons. Further beefing-up may follow, as I've devised an easy way of ballasting the front end of the tender and loading it onto the drawbar.

That's an impressive line up of locomotives and stock! 8) What is the loco at the bottom right of the picture? I can just make out that it is a 4-4-2 but otherwise can't make out what class.

I like the 'Garter Blue' T-shirt! How about getting the green one lined as well!?

From my memory of what we ran last weekend, I think it's a C12.

Good morning all
oh dear.....pity about the P1, and I had a got an A3 body ready to build one. Perhaps I'll have to use a white metal A3 kit that has been sitting in the cupboard for a long while, but that would leave a chassis and tender spare. C'est la vie!
I'd be interested in details of your P1 weighting, for as I remember your thread on the other side, the motor was in the firebox, so would leave the boiler space for lead.
Nice shirts, but I seldom wear Tee shirts these days.

Thanks Jonathan, I do hope that is Graeme's own one and that he didn't make off with the Tony Wright built example after it trounced his P1!

Second question is that a five car steel set behind the 4-8-2?
