The vans are all ex-North Eastern, probably D 171 but there may be the odd interloper. One looks as it fi has louvre vents up the sides, don't know what diagram that is OTTOMH. The coal open extreme right is too blurred to tell but the number is fairly short, so probably ex-North Eastern as well. No idea about the loco.

Resurrecting this thread - on photo EPW038676 (The Ripon Steel Company Ltd, Ure Bank, 1932), if you follow the running lines to the extreme left of the picture, is that a Sentinel shunter which has been partially lost in some damage to the picture?

Edit - searched properly and found EPW038675, where it's very clear indeed. Nice picture of one, in fact.
