Yes - I'm sure that Hornmann/Bachby will duly take note...
...and produce a nice GWR De Glehn compound Atlantic.
Bullhead
very good, however i fear it may be a southern pacific from hornby and a diesel from Bachmann. They really know wat we want after all.
No need to be so sarcastic guys! Almost all of the major releases in recent years- the Q1, the LNER's own K3, and the upcoming T9 and Super D- have demonstrated very clearly that the major manufacturers do listen to what people want, seeing as these engines have been topping polls for years. If you need further confirmation, the people behind Hornby and Bachmann, who have been interviewed in Model Rail, say themselves that they are very keen to listen and in fact gauge modeller demand from amassing all of the polls that publications and websites produce. I'm willing to bet that with so many LNER engines in this poll, and an almost certain win for the O4 in the next Model Rail, we can anticipate at a least one LNER engine in the next few years, hopefully more
It was all meant "the best possible taste". I have real faith in the poll gauging the demand for new models and am glad that Bachmann and Hornby take it so seriously. I hope personally that is breeds atleast a J15 and hopefully many more.
