Starting tomorrow the 3rd of July The Great Gathering.
The 6 A4s are at the NRM in York until July the 17th.
Just in case you needed reminding.

Was in the hall this afternoon, looks like much shunting in the hall tonight as the position currently of Dwight and Dominion is the same as in the film clip with 3 empty roads inbetween.

It makes sense if the big unveiling as it were, is tomorrow.
A few days ago the NRM did tweet that the three steamers had arrived but weren't in place.

"Much Shunting" - sounds like the name of a small exhibition layout...

BBC news report this morning shows 5 in place with 1 empty road ready for Mallard to be brought in as part of the proceedings.

There was a 5 minute aprox feature at about 7:45 this morning on the BBC Breakfast with plenty of shots of 4498 Gresley in action on the NYMR along with an interview with the crew Roger Baker and his fireman who's name I missed........

Imagine if they also had Blue Peter, Flying Scotsman, Tornado and Green Arrow around the turntable as well!

And throw in a certain J27 as well i.e. 2392/65894. As after all 2392 was for many years a York based engine!
