Who put what in the wrong place here?

This reminds me of the Bradford Interchange when it was built.
The story going round at the time, whether it was true or not, but seemed to had credence.
The design was won by the B.R architects who forgot the size of buses and made the doors to the shelters the same distance as would have been needed were Mk2 coaches unloading there.
This resulted in only every alternate entrance being useable
The someone decided the concourse needed an overall roof.
The pillars holding this up finished up exactly opposite the doors in use so they had to change all the signs.
THEN, believe it or not it won an award for the 'best building' or something.

There's an interesting additional cock up dimension to the Waltham Cross saga. Hundreds of thousands were spent on rebuilding the station on the grounds that it would see heavy use during the 2012 Olympics (Lee Valley White Water Centre, one of the water sports venues, being nearby).
Then Greater Anglia, The Olympic Organising Committee, Uncle Tom Cobley and all started advertising Cheshunt as the "How to get there" station.
So well organised were the 2012 Olympics there's still an official "London 2012" purple banner on a lamp post in the road leading to Cheshunt station (I walked past it this afternoon).
Errrm ... the Paralympics closing ceremony took place on 9 September 2012, over six months ago!
