Sculpting with Isopon

Hi guys

I've spent this evening playing with some Isopon trying to product a generic side for some coaches. Basically, I've shaped a spatula out of some wood and spread the Isopon onto a piece of plastic card. Once dry the Isopon simply pops off the plastic and can be sanded smooth. Initial attempts look promising but I'm having problems keeping the layer consistent.

Has anyone else experimented with this method with any success?
