Sounds almost familiar... Our automatic gate went "skew on treddle" (ie. derailed) last night. Of course when it is dark and I'm hungry (I was going to pickup some takeout).
It needed the pressure water treatment - we think acorns and leaves caused one of the wheels to lift up off the rail. An unusual 12in:ft railway problem, and a monorail at that, but no frogs or switch blades to worry about.

"Top and Tailed" 66s but only the leading one should be running in case of fire in the "trailer".They do not have a fire fighting system.EWS have tried to minimise the number of loco classes they operate to reduce maintenence costs, hence 66s doing everything including shunting instead of 350s.It is surprising that the 59s and 60s have lasted so long although they are both superior to a 66 in every way.

In some cases the RHTT is run as an MPV with demountable tanks but with a limited supply of these vehicles, Tank wagons and top and tailing is required.

Exactly! There are no loco run round facilities at Hertford East and probably aren't any at Chingford or Enfield Town anymore either.
