G'Day Gents
My first car was a 1950 Morris Oxford, with a side-valve engine, I never tried to time it to 60mph, it wouldn't go that fast
Favorite car, 1973, Rover 2000, had that one for 7 years

My first was a Fiat Panda. Getting to 60 (OF) was faster than 0 - 60... Though, to continue SS's theme, it was possible to convert the seating into a double bed configuration... I knew I should have gone for the optional extras of curtains...

Ay up!
Well, my plans for conquering the world are now a pile of fragrant ashes. Dunno what I'm gonna do now. Possibly seek professional help.
Hanging on in there with the Forum, though.

First car I had was a 1965 Hillman Husky. Bought it for eight quid off the drummer in the band. The reason being that I was going on holiday to Wales, but knowing the old Husky was in its latter stages, opted to go to the Norfolk Broads instead because of the lack of any appreciable gradients that might come our way. As it turned out, it never missed a beat for the entire fortnight and served me well for another four years after that. Best eight quid I ever spent.

Just caught an interview between Richard Hammond and Sir Stirling Moss talking about brain injuries. I had brain damage meself in my teens plus Cumulative Concussion Syndrome and a series of minor strokes.
Food for thought.

right BB , free online consultation ,
It seems the problem is aggravated by certain motoring matters and to a lesser point model railway interests , so my advice to you would be rid your life of French automobile manufactured vehicle's , then make amends with a certain Yorkshire wallet , who in return should open new horizons for the purchace of recently introduced model railway items.

Ay up, Mr B!
The motor is parked up on SORN.
The Wallet is in Intensive Care, requiring re-invigorating, due to acute malnutrition.
MInd you, there's always the Kit Pile. Hmm. Got a Brit in there plus a Patriot with Claughton wheels.
Mr B, yer a genius!

Re: I'm back!
I'm sure there are lots of half built, or poorly built kits going cheap at swapmeets and other railway events.
If you can use your skills in taking them apart and doing them up to a good standard - then sell them on Ebay at a profit.
In my experience, well built locos from kits always seem to command a lot of interest and therefore good prices on that site.

Scottish examples especially in pre grouping liveries seem to command a premium on ebay.
Its good to know where you stand. Saves making a fool of yourself later......
