Beamish to build another replica steam locomotive

Exciting news from Beamish - another replica locomotive to be built. Not for the Pockerley Waggonway like the previous two, the Steam Elephant and Puffing Billy, but an 1874 design for the colliery's 2 foot gauge railway, a locomotive that worked at Frosterly - 'Samson', a Stephen Lewin design;

What a peculilar loco to choose to build. Being a fix speed engine, would the wonderful H&S rasie and eyebrow?
Its good to know where you stand. Saves making a fool of yourself later......
