Just dug this one out of the Aaagh!,chives.
Looks like virtually nothing had changed by 1968 (more snow!): The box colours of course; and the nameboard had 'positively' ( ) changed, and I think a few more window panes had been 'whited-out'.
The Up Fast Home signal OP12 (bracketed) was a 4-aspect 'searchlight' signal, so it could be argued that multi-aspect signalling was here before the 1970s King's Cross Resignalling scheme :
This was last of three successive 4-aspect signals along the UF, the aspects of each of which were controlled by three signal boxes.
OP12, as well as being Oakleigh Park's Home, acted as Cemetery box's inner Distant signal (C9), and New Southgate's outer Distant (NS19).

Thats wot i posted about 2 years ago reference the s/boxes at New Southgate, Cemetery, Oakleigh Park, New Barnet south box & New Barnet north box being painted in a cream colour with there windows being painted/lined out in white.
Actually they looked quite good in that colour scheme i thought back then and looking at the picture of Oakleigh Park (above) it still looks quite good!.
I have a Colour-Rail slide BRE1179 of Mallard at the same location as the A4 in the OP. It was taken in the 1962-63 winter and things look identical.Under these weather conditions which lasted for about 8 weeks at least, even Top Shed struggled to keep up appearances.I believe 60103 last journey in BR ownership was on January 14th 1963. However memory is about as bad as my body - clapped out.
Just out of curiosity i notice compared to the earlier picture of the box a number of windows have been painted out in the later picture then in the earlier picture, who usually done this 'painting out' job the railway painter i presume and was there any official railway policy on 'painting out' windows in s/boxes?.
I presume s/box windows were usually 'painted out' to stop the sunlight coming in through certain windows that mite glare on the track diagram rather then for privacy reasons although some windows were painted out lower down nearer the box floor at various s/boxes.

I have a video with it on somewhere, but I cant remember which one it is. However, I doubt there were many days in Jan 1963 when snow was not on the ground.
Found the video at last, and there was snow on the ground at Kings Cross on the 14th Jan 1963 when 60103 ended its BR service on the 1.15pm KX-Leeds, the loco being replaced at Doncaster.
I am pretty sure that photo on p1 of this thread, is of the loco on that date.
Oakleigh Park box was a nice little job although it was a bit odd not having a down fast line home signal on the approach side to the box although i believe i recall seeing an old photograph from G.N.R. days circa 1900 showing a down fast line home signal mounted on a tall wooden post (opposite the down slow line home signals on the bracket post) on the approach to the station.
