67646 was a Heaton engine proir to 63.

There is an 18 month gap in the allocation history post 1948 on BRDatabase - round about 1949-1950 (I will get to it soon). That would explain why 67646 appears to be at Neville Hill prior to transfer to Gateshead - sorry 'bout that. :oops:

many years ago when that water tank was still on the platform i seem to remember it had gold fish swiming about in it

last heard about the goldfish, it went with the signalman on his retirement, to the garden pond,
if its correct ?
