Hexthorpe Railway Accident

Post by railwaydoc »

:) Hi - quite by accident I came across a 'chat' about the railway accident at Hexthorpe. Someone called 'dixie'??? I think said they had a BoT report on this and mentioned the type of engine that was involved...in my excitement i forgot to take note of where this ''chat' was happening  (it was sometime ago I think) before I went off to register and now I can't find it again!!!!! :(
I am a railway historian and have been doing extensive research on this for my next book so would appreciate any help / advice / access that can be given...especially reports etc.
I appreciate that this is outside your normal area (it's outside mine too I usually write about the GWR 5 books published) ...so I need more than a little help from new friends.
All help gratefully acknowledged. :D
Thanks
